IVA booked
cd.thomson - 17/5/10 at 10:51 AM

8am Wednesday.

Seriously excited that I get to drive it for the first time..

Slightly worried that the car is going to disintegrate on the way there..

Very nervous that the IVA man is going to condemn the car as a deathtrap!

Good luck for Wednesday!!

Which test centre did you go for in the end, weren;t you avoiding Nottingham IIRC?

cd.thomson - 17/5/10 at 11:16 AM

shrewsbury was my first choice, but they don't have an IVA tester there so Derby it is.

I've read some good things, "firm but fair" which is what I'm after.

I didn't even know they had one there, wish they had one at VOSA in Leeds!!

Good luck! Keep us all posted

Good luck!

Post some pictures so we can have a quick look for anything obvious that you might have overlooked.

My outlook is that it is a preliminary inspection to tell you what is wrong, fix it, go back and get the certificate, however if it passes 1st time, Good Times

do these help adrian?

I'll take a load of detailed ones later (engine bay etc)

good luck

I'm sure it'll be fine - just make sure you take enought tools, spare edging and other odds and sods to fix any little things as you go
