Hi Guys,

I have just paid for my IVA and waiting for a date, A friend asked me the other day if I needed proof of engine age, Now, As the engine wasnt produced before 1992 and infact only in production from 2002 I couldnt get away with saying its close to pre cat date,

Do I still need proof of engine age?

nope. you only need proof of age if you want to prove its older, thus being able to take the easier emissions test

What engine?
If it is a Ford, use the engine code/age grid in the Burton catalogue.
This excepted by IVA as proof.
