i am using the race technology dash 2 display and got bits of my wiring done. the car starts and runs, horn is working,fuel pump,brake warning etc;
but i am unsure of a few points?
i have 3x savage switches. 1 is fan override(this is working), 1 is rear fog (this is also working) and 1 is hazards! so;
1; do my side lights have to work with igniton off?
2;do the side lights have to illuminate the savage switches when turned on?
3;if so how does the hazard switch led flash when the side lights are on eg; when side lights are on the hazard led will be permanently lit so will
not flash when hazards are turned on! if there is no way round this would the left and right dash tell tale lights flash to do the same job?
4;i was told that all my lights need wiring through a relay with the honda s2000 stalks so is it just a case of a feed from the stalk to the relay,a
ground to the relay then a feed out to the light? obviously with a relay for each of the 3 lights, side,dipped and main? thanks

1. yes
2, no, well, you have to have a warning light to show your lights are on, but the dials illuminating is ok for that, as they need to light up in the
dark anyway
3, as above
4 hmm, not sure about the s2000. thought sidelights usually just went through a switch, and the relay for headlights wa sa changeover relay, to switch
from dip to main beam?
but the dash 2 display only lights up on ignition! but the warning lights along the bottom, eg brake,fog,side lights still light up

Should help you wire up your hazard switch, can be a bit of a PITA
cheers mate. already have that and can sort out the hazard wiring. its the headlights im having trouble with as the s2000 had hid lamps with diodes,inverters,ignitors and relays, i am using the s2000 stalks and want to make it work as simple as possible.
tbh the stalks will probably just have simple swtiches inside which then go to a relay on the S2000. You can probably just use the stalks as they
areif you find the relavant wires?
Do you have a wiring diagram for them?
The BMW stalks im using did the same sort of thing, they had several wires which were of no use to me, but when you look into it the wires are quite
simple. Im going to put a relay in anyway as i dont think the stalks would be rated for the headlights.
