I am struggling to find the reference to folding rear view mirrors in V5.02 dated 18/10/10. Critical for me is whether folding mirrors are required if they exceed the maximum width of the vehicle or exceed the plan area ( slightly tapered towards the front in my case ). I cannot find any reference in either Indirect Vision or Extereior Projections. Can some kind sole point me in the right direction please. TIA.

A lot depends on the format of the car in question - something like a Seven doesn't need mirrors that fold back under impact as they are within the line of the wheels. I believe that the Cyclone is the same?
