Hi do i need a cat for mot and sva im running a 99 R1 with carbs ???

Also how many letters and numbers do you need to make up a chassis number??

As far as I know MOT is just a visable smoke test, but SVA will need a cat. Chassis number is a 17 letter/number combination.
