Did you need to cover them up or radius the edges ?

thanks

I had them fitted for SVA all OK. They should lie almost flat on the panel so excluded from radius check.

Good luck with fitting them, mine were a real pain. I ended up changing the front bonnet ones for over centre catches as they kept coming open. Probably due to poor workmanship on my part!

i passed the sva with a similar fastener on my bonnet and nose cone.i used "cam-locks " which externally lock identical .as said befor there is no external projection to have to radius.

Mine passed in June with Dzus fasteners
Agree with above, mine are flush. The external ones are on the 'boot' lid, no problems at all!

I second Zetecs experiences with the catches un-doing/lifting at speed. Ours lined up exactly level when locked yet they would ride up the spring they lock onto at 50+mph, to the point that you could see the front wishbones from the passenger seat! so we decided 2 change them just incase. They never came off but at the end of a journey they needed relocking again.

Whilst on the subject...

Could anyone recommend someone who could supply Stainless Dzus fasteners?

( I can only find the Zinc Plated ones..)

Cheers
