Have there been any changes made to the IVA process over the last 12 months? I'm going through the forms now, but just wanted to check if we've identified anything else they don't like?

There are a few minor ones, there is a list of changes at the begining of the latest manual (see the last page of the sticky thread at the top of this section)

To answer your question, they haven't relaxed the rules regarding emissions which ISTR was your biggest problem.
