Can anyone give me some advice regarding the holes in the driver bulkhead for the brake and clutch pedal linkages.
Can they be left open or do you need to fit rubber boots over them (or something similar) in order to 'seal' the bulkhead up to pass iva??
personally Id seal any holes through the bulk head to prevent moisture ingress.
Not sure on the IVA part.
Thats what i thought Andy.
Ive had a look through the iva but couldn't see anything.
IMHO its always better to do a job properly and if you feel something needs doing don't hesitate.
Sealing any holes will not only make the install neat and tidy, it should reassure your IVA assessor you've implemented the same technique in
other areas he may not be able to see.
If a hot water pipe splits chucking boiling water on your legs, or if there is an engine fire, you will want every hole filled. Personally, IVA or not I would make blanking plates.
thats another reason why i thought of doing it mark
