Just a couple of IVA issues I'm unsure about.
Firstly all the wires going into the fusebox, do these need to be covered? if so would i be best of making an enclosure for the fusebox? as it
won't be easy covering all those cables now.
Secondly, the last quarter of my digidash, is out of the exemption zone, do you think i will get away with this? or would i be best to make a curved
pod for it like I've done on the starter button?
Thirdly, Do you think i will get away with this steering wheel? I can't actually get the aftermarket boss back off to fit a sierra one!
And lastly, not actually IVA related, but do i need to fit some heat wrap to this exhaust? or will it be ok without?
Cheers for any advice on these matters.

1.Yes
2. No and yes
3. Maybe
4. No and yes
I would secure the wires with plastic ties so they look neater.
You'll need to check the radii and maybe do the same as the button (Better safe than sorry)
I believe the wheel will need a padded boss.
Don't dare wrap those fab pipes.
I had a similar issue with mine and just made a plastic box to cover them up. I rivetted some manufactured 'L' brackets to it and that
screwed into the bulkhead.
One of my first IVA fails was uncovered contacts so it may be a grey area?
HTH
Mine passed with a steering wheel pretty much identical but the horn surround had sharp edges on it so I set it up in my drill & polished it with a bit of fine paper. I don't think there are any exempt areas on the dash if you haven't got a screen fitted

I hope that's not true!!!
Can't see anywhere in the manual where it says anything about having a screen when talking about the exempt areas. Anyone know for sure?

Dont panic, the area is exempt regardless of if you have a screen or not.
Ta, that would have been really annoying!
My eunos steering wheel looks like that when you take of the rubber centre bit, so presumable you could by a rubber bit for the test and it should be ok from my reading of it.
