Can your recomend a Classic car insurer?

We've just bought another Nissan Bluebird (wife got fed up with the troublesome Zafira and wanted a car that doesn’t breakdown) a really nice one too an F reg 1990 with just 19k on the clock! Looks virtually mint and when I’m done with it, it will be

Now Bluebirds are not super old, not old enough that some would argue they are not a classic car but all cars go through that phase, however at 22 years old she getting on and getting to become rare. I notice now the prices are starting to climb for good examples so feel that perhaps I should get it insured as a classic.

Would I need a valuation done on it? Has anyone found a good company that doesn’t need a valuation in the past I’ve had a hell of a job getting the correct value back on car to the point of sending them classified ads of similar cars.

Anyone got some constructive suggestions?

Thanks

Oh and here's a pic, it soooo shiny

I insure my E Type with Adrian Flux, seem OK but having never claimed who can tell. For 6,000 miles pa I'm paying £120, but 40 of that is broker fee!!

They only ask for photographs along with an agreed valuation declaration, they have never asked me for independent valuation, that is if you want an agreed value, give them a ring, they are quite helpful.

Looks like a nice car, mine is F Reg too, but the F is at the other end of the plate.

I use classic line insurance and can recommend them without hesitation. They were the cheapest by far when i insured my TVR
They ask for photos if you want an agreed valuation.

Try these - http://www.rhclassicinsurance.co.uk/

I've paid about £100 for the last 7yrs for my Monte. That's FC with full Euro breakdown. Were fine when I claimed a few years back after some muppet reversed into it when parked
