I'm going to be mounting my rear lights in the bodywork this week (stop/tail, indicator, fog, reverse)
Just a quick question with regards the minimum height requirements laid down in the IVA. Are these measured from the ground to the bottom edge of the
respective light OR from the ground to the center of the respective light?????
Any advice much appreciated.
Best advice anyone can give, Read the manual!
It's all in there
bottom
I have!! And I cant see anything about it hence why I have asked the question!
Can anyone else help??
Thanks Mr T

Yes I have looked at all those pages. I'm not sure you are reading my question properly. Is the 350mm minimum height dimension measured to the bottom of the light or to the center of the light?? I can't see this information anywhere.
Ah, that's page 173, in 'installation of lights' (section 20)
Note 1
In short, minimum height is measured to the lower edge, max height to the top edge of the lens

That's what I was after p173...got there in the end Thanks for the help.
Great picture as well, thanks
Worth noting there are (IIRC) minor differences between the above SVA based diagram and the current IVA regs. Cant think off hand what they are, but seperation distances rings a bell.
thanks for the heads up, I will always go by what the current IVA manual states.
