I am just about to fit one of those small inline filters just before my bike carbs as I have been having problems with blocked jets (already have a filter between tank and pump). I am going to fit the filter tight against the carbs with a short length of rubber hose.

For IVA does the filter need a bracket or is it ok just secured by the lines either side?

That will be fine if its the light plastic one
