Put my car on the GBS IVA waiting list, so just wait for the call now to take the car up to them. they run it through the workshop, make any adjustments needed, IVA it, register it and give it back!,

Feeling the pressure now!

Your missing out not putting it through yourself
There is apprehension, fear, elation or disapoinment the likes of which you have not felt either for a very long time if ever.
A sort of right of passage that adds to the statement "I built it" everytime you say it.

not been there myself yet, but i'd probably agree with that (not to mention the money savings...)

however, i can't handle disappointment and rejection these days, also don't like apprehension and fear very much, so it does have some advantages

I hope you're in no rush. VOSA currently taking 3 weeks to process applications and 4 weeks till a test date, its therefore unlikely, even if it passes first time, that you'll be on the road before September if you're still to send the paperwork in.

Quick lets punch him in the guts before he gets his hope up Maybe you could intercept his car and push it into a river. That will teach him to be enthusiastic! It is what it is with the Goverment. One test centre is quick and the DVLA office helpful. The next one is too busy and the DVLA don't know what a kitcar is. I always have had a date within 4 weeks of sending off my paperwork. So lets hope his is as quick.

My thoughts exactly, not that I'm wanting hundreds of reply's wishing me good luck, and all that. It's more to do with the fact that I'm that close to the finish line after three years of building. And even if it was on the road by September, so what? The past few years September and October have been better weather than our so called summer.

Thanks any way!!
