Hi all,
had my sva at norwich today and passed!!!. The pair of guys who did the test were great, real friendly chatty people. I didnt have a cover fitted
over the back end to cover the axle etc and they said straight away that it then means the contents of the back end is subject to the 2.5 radius
testing. They carried on with the rest of the test and the only things they weren't happy with was that the front flexiy brake pipes just touched
the botton wish bones on full lock and that a slight fuel leak developed on the pump union. At the end of they test they went for a brew and let us
sort the snags out. They came back and said that as they were happy with the rest of the car they werent bothered about the back cover!!!! and gave us
the cerficate.
With big grins we then went straight over to the Ipswich dvla office and they had there 10 second look at the car.
So with a bit of luck i should be on the road within a week
Well done, that's great to get a first time pass.
How did you get over to the DVLA for their inspection? I've been told you can't drive there but I haven't got any other way of getting
there. Got my SVA retest on monday and dvla inspection on tuesday morning.
Cheers
Pete
Congratulations!
It's a great feeling, isn't it...
