Is cable-tying water hoses directly to the chassis an SVA ok or a fail?

I'll probably use some sort of large 'P' clips but there might be the odd occasion where it's useful.

Hi James at my sva i had the top hoses held together with ties the comment was that it was neat but to make sure that they were not too tight and didnt rub any thing.
he said that, and the wiring cable tied came under suitablilty of design.
