45° Angle visibility for indicators
Mark Allanson - 7/11/04 at 10:00 PM

I am a little worried about the SVA rule for the visibility of indicators. I stuck masking tape on the floor from underneath the indicator and directly under the most forward point of the car. You can just see the indicator at normal viewing height, but at indicator height it is just obscured.

For those of you who have passed, how is this point tested? Rescued attachment 45° Angle.jpg

Well on my test, nothing like that!

I used little bike ones, and put them on long spacers. I think he saw that I'd made the effort and just used his experiance!

Most testers are not as anal as you expect they are going to be Mark, or atleast mine wasn't. And when I went to Pat's (Avoneers) SVA, he was even more laid back (read slacker!)

Nearly finished now?

I'm so close now it hurts, I spent about 1/2 hour today just thinking what to do next!!

I do need to make a boot though.

But you'll always fine 101 little things to do the night before SVA. I think I got to bed about 3am the morning of my SVA! Was in Beverly at 7.30.
