The big day has now been and gone, she failed on a few things but nothing real bad. Dam the sierra donar stuff when i find rear brakes are no good cos of a leaking cyinder in the drum, so the brake bias couldnt be tested
some un-protected wires in tunnel and under dash.
also put the wrong fully loaded weights down on the form, so they want me to weigh it again and show proof too (altho they knew exactly what it weighs)
couple of other small jobs to do and thats it, im chuffed. got a re-test next fri........humbug . oh 1 last thing it failed on the view from my luego mirrors, strange!

Bad luck, what do they define as unprotected wires?

speed sensor (transducer) wires (3)running along the top of the tunnel. Also where the reversing light and fog lights break out of the tubing the loom is in (rear panel) need to be re-sleeved - they are currently wrapped up in electrical tape.

yeh cheers ben. shame about the mirrors, but the s.v.a. bloke was a nice chap

Could'nt of asked for a nicer day.... too nice infact, one of the failures was not being able to read the dash in the spring like sunshine! (first time they had encountered it)

Cant remember tbh.. and you have to get the right one... 3 types, crap if you dont get right one. Had a matched pair, but think i sold them for loads.

No idea where the dsah is now tho

Great pics of the morning sunrise mr.g 7 oclock too the mirrors failed on not being able to see the defined marks as laid out on the floor at the test station. had to move my head to be able to see it, so it failed......
