Probably a daft question but is my IVA application type Statutory or Voluntary??
Can someone explain the difference?
The guidance notes don't exactly clear it up!!

Statuary
Voluntary is for where the law doesnt require you to, but a local authority may require it (modified taxis etc) to grant a license.

I think the answer is Statuary - i.e. you have to IVA a car before you can register it and take it on the road.
