1st mot coming up since getting car on road. So passed Iva with fog lamp wired up to relay so it didn't come back on when lights were switch back
on. I have since removed this and wondered if I can wire it separate to the lights or does it have to come on only when dipped headlights are on.
Hope that made sense!!
Cheers
As per Iva as far as I'm aware
It can be separate: -
http://www.ukmot.com/manual/1.3/Rear-Fog-Lamps
Specifically: -
quote:
A rear fog lamp is permitted to operate independently of headlamp, position lamp or ignition systems.
if its a Q reg, then you don't have to have to have rear fogs. however, I believe if fitted it must work
