So after a few minor tuning issues I finally blagged my way through the emissions and got a pass at Nottingham... I drove the 25 miles there passing 2
police cars on the way into nottingham, on the way back I had a cop car come back round the roundabout and follow me for a few miles until I pulled in
for petrol. I got it all on the go pro 
. other than that everything seemed ok. There’s lots of noises I’m not used to hearing and my tracking and
ride hieght needs a little fine tuning but it all went fairy smoothly.
I managed to cook my finger holding the revs steady as my TPS is a little sensitive and I had to tweak the ignition advance slightly but I got there
just. I think there’s something in the map ref temprature as i had to switch the cooling fan off to keep the temps in the high 90’s to get it reading
right. Anything below 90 and the co2 shot up. Thats something for the next RR with my new exhaust in a few weeks.
Just got my cover note to print off and a cheque to write and the paperwork will be off with the postman in the morning.

Have the rules changed then on being allowed to drive to IVA.
Last time I built a kit it Was Suva.
What is required just insurance ?

You are allowed to drive to IVA, and back if it passes, if it fails the inspector might not let you drive off if deemed un safe.
I had my insurance on the chassis number...

It’s a day late (thanks wife) but the reg docs have gone off to kits and rebuilds this morning, hopefully I should here something next week, but I’m
not holding my breath.
My speedo packed up working on the way to the IVA so I need to get that looked at, luckily he’d allready passed that so it wasn’t looked at.
I have a few pictures but not as many as i wanted. It got a little busy and hot tweaking the map with one hand whilst holding the throttle steady
with the other. I’ll get some up asap and maybe a few screen grabs from the go pro.
