Had my re-test today. I did get quite wet driving it there this morning! It did pass, so was worth it!
Thanks to those who offered advice on my collapsible boss issue. The Sierra wheel did do the trick, as suggested.
I also used a db killer to lower the noise having seen a previous recommendation from Russbost. It didn’t drop the reading as much I thought it may,
but it was enough!
Just the registration to sort now, and that’ll be another Stylus on the road.
Good job. Hope the winter is dry!
Good work, well done
Nice one!
Great news.
Take it easy and enjoy.
Result!
Got any pictures to share?
Cheers
Mike
Good effort! Well done.
Congratulations & glad to have been of help
The dB killer has more effect with some wadding behind it, but you probably won't be too bothered now you have a pass!
Also worth remembering that dB is on a log scale, so just a couple of dB adjustment is actually quite a major chunk of noise
Well done.
Feels good doesn't it?
Now the fun begins...
Well done!
I forgot to take any whilst there! There have been a couple of updates since, but it still looks like this:
Stylus
Looks great.
Whats that sticking out underneath behind the front wheel?
It’s just the edge of a rag on the floor under the car! Trying to keep the drive clean, good old Ford crossflow!!!
Well done. Great feeling when you get a pass.
Nice one on the IVA pass.
Great looking car
