hi folks

just wondering what the score is with mirrors and the sva test, i know i gotta have side mounted rear view mirrors but what about a center mounted rear view mirror? do i have to have one for the test? just been thinking about it and with the space between the seats and the fact i can only mount on the scuttle panel i'm hardly going to be able to see a thing out of a center mirror anyway! the sva book i got here literaly doesn't have a single page covering mirrors

Yes, a centre mounted mirror is a must unless there is a bulkhead or similar which will block the view.

I didn't want to fit on so I used one of those suction types, there was a bit of a 'Hmm' from the SVA inspector but he passed it on both tests (failed the first for other reasons)
