Built-up inspection

OK guys - here is a question re BEC built-up form. My lad is going for a new reg for his BEC. On the form there are listed 6 major components, of which he has to have 5 new, to leave one "recon as new". No prob we thought - the engine, we have a receipt stating just that. BUT - the transmission in a bike engine is part of the unit, not seperate (unlike the old Brit bikes - now I'm showing my age!!) So what does everyone going for a new reg with a BEC enter in the columns against transmission? We are waiting for the local VRO kit car bod to get back to us, but thought in the meantime someone might know.
TIA

P.S the 14" wheels are still for sale.....

Surely the engine and transmission stand for just the engine don't they? in which case the transmission came with the prop didn't it ?? Really??

Worth a try... unless you buy a new bike gearbox as spares... then you have a receipt. I'd wing it personally!

Do you have receipts for the prop and diff? If so then I don't think you'll have too much trouble.

PS I heard that they're trying to avoid giving out Q plates as much as possible now due to the sheer number of them.

Are you saying we can list the prop and diff as transmission? Sounds a good idea...

The form is a bit vague, so make your own assumptions
