Just got back from Scotland and read my EATOC news letter...

There is a mention in there about proposed new legislation on tyre size for home built vehicles, apparently they are planning on limiting cars under 1000kg to 145 tyres

any one know any more about this ?

It certainly is, which is exactly why I wanted others to feel quite as stupid as i did after 10 minutes of ranting....
