Are convex lense mirrors OK for SVA ? havent got me book here with me and I have found some on ebay, NOBODY go bidding against me !

I used a convex mirror for my sva in the centre.(see archive piccys) it was ok.

Thanks for reply. I'd just phoned up SVA centre in Brum to ask, as I was getting concerned nobody was gonna reply in time ! he said they are fine aswell, fingers crossed I win them...

The mirrors billy got from luego were not convexed and so failed the sva. Had to go and buy convexed bike mirrors to get it through.

Don't believe the SVA manual specifies flat or convex. I think billy failed the field of view test, not because they were non convexed mirrors.

Sorry did'nt make the last post very clear. No they don't specify the mirrors have to be convexed but you'll have a harder job trying to get through as your field of view drops considerably with flat mirrors (which is what happened to billy)
