Spoke to Swansea today about SVA dates and the chap said if i was going for a Q plate, which i am i need an MOT. Thought it was only an SVA i needed. How wrong was i.
So its booked in on Fri for MOT then will send papers to Swansea.
Whats your opinions on this.?

i had to have mine mot,d pre sva,they didnt want to se it then,good excuse for a run tho

Not alwas clear. The man who carried out the SVA said I definately needed an an MOT, but the guy at the DVLA just thought about it for a few seconds and made a "local decision" that I didn't one

As you say though , great excuse for a road test
