I've been trying to find out exactly what i need to do about getting the car on the road, I'm now at teh stage where I just need to remove sharp edges and polish it up.

From what I can tell on here, I need a chassis number which I get from the DVLA, then I get it MOT'd to be safe, then go for the SVA.

So I phoned my local dvla office (which is handled by swansea) and eventually got through to a human who said I needed a couple of forms, (Sorry can't remember which one) and she'd send them out, one was a V55/something, and the other 267?

Anyway they havent arrived and im going to have another go, can anybody point me to a guide or clueful contact at the DVLA who can explain the process more?

Get in touch with your local DVLA office (if you know where it is, go and visit or write a letter, as a phone call will end up in Swansea).
The local DVLA will have a bod who deals with kit cars, and can give you all the forms, tell you how to fill them in, organise his visit to check details, and so on.
