I know from my last car, to get a new reg you are only aloud one re-con item. Do they class a motorcycle engine and gear box as one or two items?

Don't they class it as 2 if your going for age related?

Thats how I thought some people got to keep the bike's plate's age on the points system as they counted the engine and box seperate.
