SVA Pass!
Hornet - 3/6/05 at 05:51 PM

Passed SVA today at Bishopbriggs.... Can't compliment the tester enough... he was brill, talked all through test. whole thing went like clockwork....
THEN.... went to DVLA Edinburgh, what a f*%kin nightmare.
First.. I'm sorry sir the guy that does kit cars is off today..... me.... this is Edinburgh.... someone else will need to do it!!
ok! Ah good afternoon sir, I'm afraid it will have to be a Q plate... me.. no f*%kin way m8... i had to rant and rave for almost an 1/2 hour before he said.. ok age related plate., now sir everything is in order, all I need is a receipt for your chassis now... me.. I built the chassis... him... in that case a Q plate.. me... no fkin way and so on...
Finally after 1 and 1/2 hours he surrendered.... i got my age related plate. what a nightmare.... never mind.. its done now
Many thanks to all on forum that have helped me during my build.... if I can help anyone... then just ask.

John

Well done, know what you mean about DVLA passed SVA a couple of weeks ago, went to Peterborough office to be told the person I needed to see was on holiday and to leave all of my documents until they came back , no one else could help . Could leave passport or licence as I needed them last week . Have got an appointment for next Friday . yet another trip up the A1 .
