Just wondering how others have aligned their headlights?

I am going to get it MOT'd before the SVA so is is best to make sure they are correct then?

Rich.

Get them roughly right against a wall or garage door then fiddle with them at the MOT centre.

Even though I did this I had to do another minor adjustment at SVA.

Mark out the beam pattern of your typical road car and copy this. That's what we did and the MOT guy commented as to how we did it.

Might be a stupid question but how do I do that!!?

Rich.

Same as Hellfire, but my markings go up and down. (they are on the roller shutter door at work).

Stick tintops lights on garage door and mark out top of beam with some tape. Also mark position of front wheels on drive. Then basically replicate position of lights on Indy to those on garage door. Job done.

Your more than welcome to borrow our roller shutter door.
Yep same as Hellfire again. And one light was spot on and the other only needed moving a bugs d--k

don't the headlights of your "normal" car and your seven have to be at the same height for this to work?

Seriously though, find a good bit of ground with a straight wall. Use a tape measure to read the height of the centre of the headlamp, adjust the headlamp to get the beam 2" less than the lens centre height at a distance of 10' away
