Does anyone know please what the regs are regarding pedal rubbers?
I know brake and clutch must have rubbers fitted, but what about accelerator? Does this need an anti slip surface as well?
Only clutch & brake need some grip (not necessarily pedal rubbers) Sticky-backed stuff they use on skateboards should be fine. Accelerator is fine without.
Pedal rubbers.!..never heard them called that before
Sure you can use emery type paper held on with spray glue or buy it already with a sticky backing.....but then i meant have dreamt that one.
meant!!!! muppet that should have right..."might"
Thanks guys.
Thought that was the case but I knew you lot would have the definitive answer so thought I'd ask.
We hav that anti slip sticky back stuff at work so thats handy
By the way Triton What else can you call a rubber cover that goes over a pedal except a "pedal rubber" LOL
i used renault pedal rubbers on mine that we just so happened to have laying about in the stores dept at work. SVA man said they looked more than
sufficient (they are huge!) spray glued the backs of them then just pushed them on the best they'd go.
does the job!
