Just had a quick look on the vosa site, and it tells you about an SVA test, and and ESVA test (enhanced single vehicle approval). Whats the difference? which one applies to kits like the mk?

Kits are subject to SVA procedure. ESVA is for big series cars. I can check the exact definitions for you this evening if you want (I have the latest SVA manual at home)

no need thanks mate, i read the webiste and it kinda makes sense! i didnt know the sva test cost £150 though.

The book only makes reference to building a car, there is perhaps a hidden sequal that covers making them road worthy and legal for less than £2,500!!!!

Yeh, ESVA covers airbags, and crash zones, etc.

Dont think there will be any sequels, as he ran off with loads of peoples money to another country
