My harness mounts on the top chassis rail are high enough to comply with the SVA regs but my harness holes in the seats are higher still so the belts go up to the seat then down to my shoulders. Will this pass?
I think it might depend whether there is any prssure on the seat between your shoulders and the mount. For my SVA I had to belt up and the tester told
me to push forwards, then back.

Are the seats on Runners,
If they are could they be bolted straight to the floor so the belts would go level or down through the holes.
Thats what we had to do for the SVA
This si one area where you need to consult the book. There are specified heights measured from a point on the seat that dictate the correct harness
heights etc. If the belt rests on bottom of slot then it is a fail. i think the only way round this is if the seat is type approved.
Strange thing is the book doesnt take real life and different driver heights into consideration.
