Nigthmare..... SVA'd car in June 05.
Reminder in this week for road tax (Only did 6 months)
They claiming i need an mot. I explained log book says first registered june05.. but so far falling on deaf ears... I aint giving up. Anyone else came across this?

I had a chat with the DVLA help line - explained the situation, and she took the requirement off the computer.

When I went to the local post office it wasn't shown as a requirement on their screen, so no hassle.

phone the automatic tax renewal service, it checks it records and says ok, did with me after renewal said i need a mot and i did not have one.

nothing to loose,

I had same situation.....had to get an MOT!
