Track day tralier ( 2nd update )

O.K.
We have made some more progress on the trailer design.
It now has two or four wheels, height adjustable legs that dont need jacking to adjust even when loaded (trade secret for now) and optional castors to make the trailer a portable work station.

The front A frame is removable and the suspension units will attach to it (somehow) for storage and to stop you losing bolts etc.
Also, only very short ramps will be needed but have not been finalised.

The group and I are unfortunatly at the market research stage.

Could i please ask the members to fill in a questionaire that I can email out?

Also, as these will be used by general builders and racers does anyone have any ideas of how to get questions to more folk?
Are there any other good forums or clubsites etc?

As always thanks for the responses and happy building.

Cheers.

Sounds good, post on www.seloc.org (Lotus Forum) and www.blatchat.co.uk (Caterham Forum)

Good luck,
Rich.

Sounds like you are making good progress.

You could try posting on www.pistonheads.com and www.seventorque.com as well.

It might be an idea to explore the hiring out of this type of trailer. There must be loads of drivers out there that only do a couple of trackdays a year (like me) and can't justify the cost of buying a trailer or maybe the space needed to store it.

Just a thought ...
