I was fitting a Pinto to my bookish chassis today and found that when the engine is central in the chassis, that the starter bit of the bellhousing is only 2mm away for the engine bearer tube (I can never remember the bloody letters for the chassis tubes).

What clearances will Mr SVAman allow?
