Hi

I was wondering if any standard bike end cans have cats in them

How do bike emmisions differ from car ones at sva ?

thanks Lee

a fair few of the modern bikes do (2002-2003 onwards) but the cats arent big enough even for the bike engines they come from to pass sva let alone a normal car unfortunately. the bike emission regs are far more soft than car ones.

its annoying they want to get in the real world a bit its only the same engine as it would be if it was still in the bike

yeah it is annoying and it will stop in a couple of years as the bike emission regs are being tightened but till then you have to use a car cat. (look for supermini ones as they should be small enough)

im trying to get in some custom ones from the states that will better suit locosts and other kit cars so there might be a group buy soon.
