Does the miniumum curvature SVA requirement apply to the tub interior?
What I plan to di is to make attach a plate between the lower side chassis rail and the diagonal that runs in the passenger side using self tappers.
The support for the exhaust bracket will be attached using a button head bolt.
This is give additional support for the exhasut bracket as at present it is fixed to the ali panelling that I suspect over time will fracture.
So for want of a better description, there will be 3 self tappers and one larger button head bolt near the passengers left leg.
Is that problem for SVA?
I don't have the manual handy to give you an exact answer, but yes, there is a min. radius requirement for the interior for everything that can
be contacted by the tester's 'knee probe'.
You should be all right with a button-head bolt though, as long as it is the mushroom-headed type. My scuttle is held on with those things, and I
didn't make much effort to hide them (they're a little bit recessed, that's all).

Done something similar for my exhaust mounting, used a piece of 1" sq steel tubing with plates welded on each end . Drill chassis and used rivnuts and countersunk screws . No mention at all at SVA.
