You'd probably be introducing more problems by fitting one before SVA. Sharp edges and all that. Might seem daft but it's best left until after SVA.

yes your right, maybe i should have asked how do you remember the exhaust is hot when leaving the car!Burning the leg twice doesnt sink in.

There is a perfectly simple answer to your problem........... fit a bike engine Exhaust will then be on the passenger side. Doesn't matter if they burn their leg

Specific to the F27 - check your top rocker arm pivots run parallel to the chassis rails not the centre line of the car otherwise the steering won't self-centre. Mine is an early plan built car and they weren't. Just finished re-aligning the top arms and bottom wishbones (but have rose-jointed them for better location) but its taken me three months to do it.
