Is het SVA obligatory

that the speed is sensed from the wheels driven by the engine?

or could i use the front abs sensor??

Surely how speed is sensed should not matter so long as its accurate. How about GPS then?

Nope, the sensor can be on any wheel, driven or not, Mr SVA, he don't care

Speed sensor can be taken off any of the road wheels or prop/ drive shaft, all thats important is its accuracy.

Speed measured on calibrated rollers.
