Should be ok, but make sure you put them in the right place, as some will probably be a right arse to drill out at a later date if you change you rmind about something.

good point, would drilled and tapped be better then?.

I'd rivet them. Once they are in place it's unlikely they'll have to come out again.

Arses never knew Maplins sold em I had to wait 4 days delivery for mine plus pay for postage.

I used some on my car SVA inspector didn't comment. Just make sure you space them correctly and I'm sure it'll be OK.
