Steering arm covers!

Seen a advert in a kit car mag about the steering linkage/arm covers for £3.50 but cant see them anywhere!

can some one help, cheers kris!

I have a quote from a recent THREAD regarding the covers and SVA.

SVA Fail - Carlisle
Some minor things, the front track rods needed some padding in between the rubber cover and the nut cos he could still feel the metal nut underneath.


We used these for our SVA 18 months ago and they never got questioned.

Your local electrical wholesalers should have them in stock , think they are gland covers for steel wired armoured cable Got mine from my brother in law who is a sparks . When I fitted mine I grease the track rod as a release agent then placed the cover over the track rod, fitted the lock nut and track rod end . After I had done the tracking I filled the cover with silicon and pushed it over the locknut etc

I have some rubber over my nuts then some split convoluted tubing over the top of that. Should'nt be able to feel his nuts under that lot.

I'm still expecting to fail on Tuesday. Then I will have a task list to work on
