Hi All,
SVA passed first go at Liverpool today....how long does it take for the grin to go away. Just DVLA to sort now and another INDY will hit the
road....
The testers at Liverpool can only be described as first class, both of them genuinely wanted the car to pass, offering advice where necessary, and
commenting on the build.
Few additional edges to cover, edges of the harness attachments, and the two bars below the steering column. One point I would never have thought of
is the screw that holds the lamp lens on the premier wiring supplied headlamps. A nut cover pushes on and does the job perfectly.
Little bit of tweaking of the speedo and that was it.
Lots of fuss about nothing, I have spend the last week worrying and it all turned out to be fairly painless in the end. I was convinced a fail was
inevitable, just goes to show......
Shame about the weather though, got soaked loading the car, soaked again unloading it for the test. Then the same coming home, spend the whole morning
smelling like a wet dog.....:-)
Holidays at the end of the week, still need DVLA inspection so guess its going to have to wait a while to be christened.
Last thing the info gained from this site, is amazing, thanks to all who post, couldn't have done it without you. Looking forward to meeting some
of you at the shows in the fairly near future.
John
