In the manual is states that the fuel restrictor much have a hole no greater than 23.6mm diameter.
Whats the diameter of an unleaded fuel nozzle?
I just want to know how small the hole can be.
Is it really an SVA requirement to have a restrictor in the fuel filler? Even if the fuel filler is only accessible by lifting the bonnet?
I'm just asking because I don't have one fitted to the tank in my car, and if it is an SVA requirement, I need to get busy on the Lathe
making one!
Oh, and don't forget to allow a bit of clearance for wiggling the filler nozzle around
Cheers

Take a ruler to the filling station next time and let us all know.It would be useful on the new FAQ section that has been suggested.
Steve.
bidandy, fuel restrictors are required on all CAT equiped cars.
