SVA re-test passed at Shrewsbury, this morning, most items straightforward fixes, however, improving the front brakes was all down to new Ferodo DS2000 racing pads at £80 a set, they came up with the goods, less than half the pedal effort of the previous (unbranded) pads for better stopping power.

A quick trip to the DVLA office and I now have a tax disc, stopped for number plates on the way home (50 miles, what a day for an open top drive!!). Job done by 11:30.

Thanks to this forum for all the advice given, to Mark & Stewart at VOSA and Shrewsbury DVLA for processing the paperwork in 5 mins flat and issuing my tax disc!!
