oh well at least i had a good fifty mile trip!!
only failed on a couple of points really.
1. emissions co was over 5
2.rear fog was in fact a stop/tail and wasn't vertical enough!
3. couldn't see marking for one fuel pipe!
quite chuffed really was worried about self centre and did'nt even check! no probs with sharp edges, so an excuse for another drive!! thanks for
all the encouragement! kev
seems strange to say it to a fail but well done mate! not a bad result at all! how did you solve the rear panel to side panel sharp edge prob?
a bit stuck on emissions obviously mac 1 are struggling anyone know of who else can set carbs up for sva?
Not a bad result!!! good luck with the re-test. How did it drive?
Leigh
drove really well (of course) had to overtake a couple of artics on the way back! forgot how quick these were!!
kev try Ox i'm sure he and his brother have put an R1 through with a bit of fidling, only other is snoopy who might know a trick or two.
holeshot racing at Bradford will set your carbs up for SVA and then once you have passed take it back to them and they will RR tune it for you.
You will have to pay them though
long way for me i'm afraid!!! cheers anyway!!
Hi Kev.
I spotted you on your way to the test centre today!! you had just left the roundabout at J26 of the M1 heading towards Notts. The car looks awesome,
sorry to hear it didn't pass but I guess you are confident it will pass the re-test.
Cheers.
Unlucky, but as already said, nothing major and not a full strip and rebuild.
We def need a "nearer" rolling road to do, as suggested, with the carbs and to get it them re-tuned afterwards

Not too bad then anyway Kev, on holiday at the moment so may have missed this but what did you do about your MAC#1 dash radius to get it through?
Good luck with the retest anyway
