Passed at lunch time! and I'm over the moon about it.

Bit pissed off that I couldn't get it inspected today after being told by Swansea that Bristol DVLA don't do appointments, only to turn up and find that they have a 3 week waiting list, however got lucky and i have an appointment tomorrow for inspection and to register. Looks like I'm going to have to call in sick or rock up at lunch time

I'm in the area too and was curious as to what the examiners were like? Fair?

Examiner was really good, no hassle for daft things i.e. my stainless brake hoses don't have markings, self centering wasn't checked (although car was driven it definatley doesn't self centre).

Having said that this was a retest as I failed originally on front and rear wiring harness not being sufficiently secure (4 zip ties fixed this) and one switch having non-radiused edges. Again fixed with a file within 10mins.

Back from DVLA and all road legal, even got to keep the original donor registration mark.

just need to get my plates made up and I'm off out for a blat!
