Fitting hydraulic handbrake to the car....
how does this effect the SVA?

If you are talking about the hydraulic handbrake that works in the same circuit as your regular brakes, then it means that you will fail...
The handbrake (secondary brakes) has to be a totally independent system from the normal system (primary brakes) - half-remembered quote from the SVA
manual.

I too was going to use hydraulic handbrake calipers, totally seperate from main hydraulic system, but then i found out that for MOT you have to have a
mechanical system so after wasting hours making brackets e.t.c iv'e gone back to a cable system.

Thanks for the info, saves any more time
playing around on the hand brake setups.
