I want to shorten the half shafts to match the rear track to the front. Do people think the SVA will allow (professionally) welded shafts ? (Building a standard chassis modified for rear IRS, with Sierra front uprights and diff/shafts.)

if your talking about narrowing the shafts for a sierra , do you think its possible to get the rear track the same width as an ford anglia english type axle? Cheers des

I've got my Sierra back end down to 55 inches with no problems.

Take it you took em off when you got the GB Engineering ones then!?

Far better solution. just get some shafts made to the correct length.
