got a phone call from nissan today, they tell me they cant prove engine age just from its number as they need a chassis number to trace it and i dont have the donor, whats the options ? apart from buy a nissan silvia and change the engine number and use that log book as proof?

are nissan engines numbers related to chassis numbers lke Ford are?

have you tired any nissan engine specialists or owner clubs/websites?

you may need to buy a scrapper and do what you suggest.
